Safe rides home during the 2025 Canmore Pride Festival, thanks to our festival partners: Three Sister’s Taxi and Roam Transit
Three Sister’s Taxi has generously sponsored complimentary taxi rides to help attendees get to and from our events during the 2025 Canmore Pride Festival. Talk to any volunteer during the festival to get a voucher.
Roam Transit is supporting the festival with complimentary one-way passes to help attendees travel between Banff and Canmore (Canmore - Banff Regional Route 3). To request a pass, please send an email to community@canmorepride.ca a minimum of 48 hours ahead of time, or talk to any volunteer during the festival. (Please limit your request to 2 passes per person at a time).
Both Three Sister’s Taxi rides and Roam Transit passes are subject to availability.
Pancake Breakfast (2025 Canmore Pride Festival)
This is a drop-in event running from 10 AM to 12 PM. There will be pancakes, an opportunity to visit and meet others, play some games or do a craft.
Sends & Ciders (2025 Canmore Pride Festival)
Join us for climbing at Canmore Climbing Gym, followed by ciders at Core Values Cider Co.
Drag Storytime (2025 Canmore Pride Festival)
This session will include storytime, some music making, some dancing, and some free time for kiddos and families to socialize.
Uncensored: Kink at Pride (2025 Canmore Pride Festival)
A kink-positive burlesque show and queer dance party. This event is 18+. Purchase tickets online ($30/seat) ahead of time.
Make & Mingle (2025 Canmore Pride Festival)
Bring your own craft projects and connect with other 2SLGBTQIA+ folks in the community!
Coming Out Monologues (2025 Canmore Pride Festival)
Join us for an evening of truth-telling, courage, and connection at Coming Out Monologues—a open-mic style space where 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals share personal stories of coming out, coming in, and everything in between.
Let's Talk About Sex(uality), Baby! (2025 Canmore Pride Festival)
A panel conversation for the curious, the cautious, the kinky, and the questioning.
Stage and Drag Make-up Workshop (Pine Tree Players)
Join Pine Tree Players for a transformative afternoon of artistry and self-expression! This hands-on workshop is designed to teach you the basics of stage and drag makeup, whether you’re a performer looking to sharpen your skills or a curious beginner ready to explore bold new looks.

Please join Canmore Pride Society at the Mînî Thnî Two-Spirit Pride Celebrations! We will gather for the flag raising and walk at 11:45 AM at the Stoney Tribal Administration Building.

Flag Raising: International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia
The Town of Canmore is hosting its annual Pride Flag raising on Thursday, May 15 in worldwide celebration of sexual and gender diversity and to observe the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (May 17). The flag raising event will run from 12 – 12:30 p.m. in the Canmore Civic Centre Plaza. All are welcome to attend in solidarity
Pride vs. Prejudice: The Delwin Vriend Story
Delwin Vriend never wanted to be a human rights activist, but in challenging his firing for being gay, he set in motion a chain of events that impacted the lives of LGBTQ+ people — not just in Alberta, not just in Canada, but around the globe.
Pride vs. Prejudice delves into the riveting narrative of the Vriend v. Alberta case, where Delwin Vriend, an unlikely hero, courageously battles against discrimination from a government determined to deny his human rights.
