Breakfast Club: Upcycling Your Clothing with Paint

A monthly community-led skill share, on the 1st Thursday each month. Coffee, tea, juice, and light pastries provided. Supplies included. Please arrive at 10 AM.

This month we are learning to give your clothes a unique look or second life with paint! Led by community member: Jess Sampson (Kaleido Threads).

Bring your own clothes to paint or paint onto a patch that’s provided! Supplies are included.

Open to 2SLGBTQIA+ people and allies. Ages 14-99+.

In this open conversation, you’ll hear directly from members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community about their lived experiences, with honest reflections on what support felt like when it mattered, what missed the mark, and what helped them feel safe, seen, and respected - along with clear, practical ways you can support 2SLGBTQIA+ people in your everyday life.

Everyone ages 18-99+ are welcome.

Outliers: Calgary’s Queer History (Film Screening + Speakers)

Calgary’s Queer History is a deep dive into the historical, social and political forces, which shaped the development of the queer community in Calgary. Featuring extensive footage and B-roll film from Calgary Pride in the 90’s, queer leaders recount a decade of turmoil, loss, and growth of activism and human rights.

The evening will include a film screening followed by speakers from the community! Doors open 6:30 PM. Tickets required.
