Curious about allyship? Join CYAN and the Bow Valley Pride Network for a relaxed, welcoming evening focused on what allyship actually looks like in real life. In this open conversation, you’ll hear directly from members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community about their lived experiences, with honest reflections on what support felt like when it mattered, what missed the mark, and what helped them feel safe, seen, and respected - along with clear, practical ways you can support 2SLGBTQIA+ people in your everyday life.

Everyone ages 18-99+ are welcome.

Calgary’s Queer History is a deep dive into the historical, social and political forces, which shaped the development of the queer community in Calgary. Featuring extensive footage and B-roll film from Calgary Pride in the 90’s, queer leaders recount a decade of turmoil, loss, and growth of activism and human rights.

The evening will include a film screening followed by speakers from the community! Doors open 6:30 PM. Tickets required.
