Join us for a playful, hands-on journey into the hidden world of fungi through a queer ecology lens. This 4-hour workshop will blend discussions around queer identity and fungi, basics of mushroom identification, a mini mushroom foray, and spore prints.

In this open conversation, you’ll hear directly from members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community about their lived experiences, with honest reflections on what support felt like when it mattered, what missed the mark, and what helped them feel safe, seen, and respected - along with clear, practical ways you can support 2SLGBTQIA+ people in your everyday life.

Featuring extensive footage and B-roll film from Calgary Pride in the 90’s, queer leaders recount a decade of turmoil, loss, and growth of activism and human rights.
