WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?

This is open to 2SLGBTQIA+ people of all ages AND allies. Please note, anyone ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or caretaker. You don’t need to be creative to come!

———

WHAT TO EXPECT?

  • Make & Mingles are a monthly casual space to make connections with other 2SLGBTQIA+ community members in the Canmore area.

  • On occasion, there may be a facilitated craft activity, and we will update the event page if so.

  • If you don’t have any craft projects, we have some crafting supplies that you’re welcome to use.

  • Although this is called a “Make & Mingle”, there is no requirement to craft if you don’t want to. Sometimes, people will bring a book to read, or a board game to play with others. Others will come just to socialize or be around other queer and trans folks!

  • Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. We try our best to have multiple options for various dietary requirements.

  • No registration is required. This program is drop-in, although we recommend arriving at 7 PM to make the most use of the space.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Water bottle

  • Your own crafting projects (e.g. linocuts, crochet, embroidery, colouring, etc.).
