  • Who: All folks and fitness levels are welcome to this upbeat, dance-inspired, fitness class. Allies are encouraged to participate as well.

  • What: Join Mandy for a barre class with music by and in support of queer artists. No prior experience is necessary. We'll jam out to some bangers while getting a full body workout. Come prepared to sweat and enjoy a different kind of dance party celebrating pride.

Mandy is part of the Canmore Pride board and was inspired to join by a desire to uplift and amplify the voices within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community especially those who may not always be heard. She hopes to help foster a more inclusive, supportive, and vibrant community for everyone who calls Canmore (and by extension, the Bow Valley) home.

  • What is Barre?

Barre by Ballet Beats® is a full body workout and a beautiful marriage of Ballet and fitness. We use the barre to support us through basic ballet exercises done to energizing music with lots of familiar cardio and core movements sprinkled throughout. No dance experience required. Think Rebel Ballet!

  • When: Saturday September 26 from 6:45-7:45 PM stick around after for community time together!

  • Why: We would love for you to dance with us to help us raise money and increase awareness for a cause that is so important to us. The best thing about our Rebel Ballerina community is the open hearts and minds of each and every member! Every individual deserves the freedom to be their authentic selves.
