This event is the first of our 2026/27 school year Pride Youth Drop-In Program. The drop-in occurs on half-day Fridays, which includes: Nov 6, Nov 20, Dec 4, Jan 22, Feb 5, March 5, March 19, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18.
WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR:
This event is for all youth grades 6-9, including 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies! You can come alone or with friends. Everyone is welcome. No registration is required. Youth do not have to live in Canmore to attend.
You do not need an adult to attend. Youth can walk-in by themselves.
REGISTRATION:

ACCESSIBILITY INFO:
The Canmore Public Library’s Program Room is wheelchair friendly.
Venue capacity is around 30-40 people (seated).
There is a gender-neutral wheelchair accessible washroom located directly across from the program room.
This event is held indoors with overhead lighting.
Feel free to bring sunglasses, hats, stuffies, etc. to make the experience comfortable for you.
The closest bus stop is “Elevation Place” and about 100 metres away.
GETTING HERE:
BY CAR: There is lots of free parking in the Elevation Place parking lot, including accessible parking stalls.
BY BUS WITHIN CANMORE: The Canmore Roam service features three routes that are FREE for all. Please visit this website for more information on routes and schedules.
BY BUS FROM BANFF: Roam Transit’s Canmore-Banff Regional Route 3 provides transportation between Downtown Canmore and Downtown Banff. Fares: $6 for one-way, $15 for day pass.
To make the festival accessible, Roam Transit is offering free one-way bus passes between Canmore and Banff. Please our festival page for more information.BY TAXI: Three Sisters Taxi is partnering with the Canmore Pride Festival to offer FREE taxi rides to help attendees get to and from events safely! Taxi rides are limited to Canmore town bounds (including Three Sisters). Ask any volunteer during the festival for a free taxi voucher.
