Canmore Pride is hosting its first Trans Femme Board Game Night!

Time: 6 PM - 8 PM (6 PM arrival is recommended)
Location: Canmore Public Library (Program Room)
The program room is located inside the Canmore Public Library. When you walk into the library doors, the Program Room is located on the left hand side of the room. You can also ask any library staff if you need help finding the room.

What to expect:
A space for trans women and girls to get together! This is the first board game night we are hosting and we hope to have regular events like this in the new year. You can play any of the board games provided, or bring your own board game if you have one you’d like to play with the group.
You do not have to play board games if you don’t want to. You’re still welcome to be in the space.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
This space is hosted by a trans woman community member. A representative from Canmore Pride will also be present.
No registration is required. This event is free.
We recommend that you arrive at 6 PM if possible, so you have as much time as possible to play games. Please note that the library closes at 8 PM.

Who this space is for:
This space is specifically for trans women and girls only, including youth (14+) and adults. You do not have to live in Canmore to attend.
Note: If you identify as trans girl but are under 14, please message us (community@canmorepride.ca) and we can chat about some options for your participation.

Board games (if you wish)
Water bottle, snacks, etc.

Accessibility:
Elevation Place and the Canmore Public Library are wheelchair accessible including access to a gender-neural washroom.
Guests will be sitting on chairs around a table.
There is fluorescent overhead lighting. You’re welcome to bring a hat/sunglasses if you’d like.
There is a single stall gender neutral washroom available directly beside the program room.
Closest bus stop is: Elevation Place North. It is 64 m away from the entrance.

Getting here:
Free parking is available at the Elevation Place parking lot. However, we encourage you to walk/bike/roll to the venue if it is accessible for you.
There are also accessible parking stalls at Elevation Place.
If you are coming from Banff and need support with transportation, we are able to support with Roam Transit tickets for the Regional Route 3 (Canmore-Banff). Please email Mich (community@canmorepride.ca) a minimum of 72 hours in advance if you need support with a bus ticket.
