Skipping Stone is coming to Canmore! Please join us at Elevation Place in the Program Room (second floor) on Monday, November 17th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Skipping Stone provides support to Two-Spirit, trans, & gender diverse folks across Alberta. 

Skipping Stone will be bringing their team to Canmore to share information about their wide range of programs, supports, and services, including information and assistance in completing name and gender marker changes, access to and information about gender affirming gear, and so much more.

This event is organized in partnership with: Skipping Stone, Town of Canmore Family & Community Support Services, Canmore Pride, Banff Pride, and the Bow Valley Pride Network

Who is this event for?

This event is for Two-Spirit, trans, & gender diverse folks of all ages. The event is also open to anyone who provides support services to this community (for example, health care providers, counsellors, etc.).

What to bring: Please bring your own water bottle, snacks, notebook/pen.

Getting here:

Free parking is available at the Elevation Place parking lot. However, we encourage you to walk/bike/roll to the venue if it is accessible for you.

There are also accessible parking stalls at Elevation Place.

Accessibility:

• Elevation Place is wheelchair accessible including access to a washroom.

• There is an elevator to get to the second floor.

• Guests will be sitting on chairs.

• There is fluorescent overhead lighting.

• Closest bus stop is: Elevation Place North. It is 64 m away from the entrance.

• Canmore Pride can support with Roam Transit Buses (Canmore-Banff Regional Route 3) upon request. Please send an email to Mich at community@canmorepride.ca a minimum of 72 hours in advance if you require a pass.
