What to Expect (subject to change):

Come to climb & connect with the queer & trans community at the Canmore Climbing Gym. This is a drop-in style event and attendees are able to come anytime between 6 PM to 8 PM.

At 8 PM, we’ll have a casual hangout at Core Values Cider Co. It’s right next door to CCG! Core Values has a variety of locally made ciders on tap + snacks available for purchase.

We’ll also have some fun door prizes up for grabs! Everyone who attends (whether you climb or not) will be entered into the draw for the door prize. We will be drawing for the door prize at Core Values (around 9 PM).

Not a climber? No worries! You do not have to attend the climb to come for ciders.

  • If you’re a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at any climbing level, come join us! This event is open to all ages. Allies are welcome.

  • The event will be hosted by queer and trans climbers/staff members of CCG

  • No registration is required.

  • CCG and Core Values will still be open to the public for this event. However, there will be lots of signage indicating that a Canmore Pride Festival event is happening.

Currently, accommodations for adaptive climbing are limited, but we warmly welcome participants who may wish to attend and hang out rather than climb. The gym is exploring ways to support accessibility further, and we encourage anyone interested to reach out so we can discuss your needs and ensure a welcoming environment for all.
