Pride Youth Drop-In

Time: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM (Drop-in at anytime. No registration is required).
Location: Room 155 at Elevation Place
(Formerly the child minding space, next to the Canmore Public Library entrance).

Who is this event for?
This event is for all youth grades 6-9, including 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies! You can come alone or with friends. Everyone is welcome. No registration is required. Youth do not have to live in Canmore to attend.
We will ask all youth to sign themselves in when they arrive and provide information for an emergency contact.

What to expect?
Free pizza and juice. (We will order at least one gluten-free pizza).
A different craft activity each week - all supplies provided.
Mario Kart (Nintendo Switch)
A place for you to be yourself!
A place to meet other youth in a pride-friendly space.

Who is leading the space?
The space will be led by two adults who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Canmore.

What to bring?
Water bottle
Any snacks if you wish (no peanuts).

Accessibility:
Elevation Place is wheelchair friendly.
There are men’s and women’s washrooms in Elevation Place near the front desk. There is a wheelchair accessible gender-neutral washroom in the Canmore Public Library (next door to where the event is held).
The venue capacity is around 12 people.
This event is held indoors with ample lighting.
