The Town of Canmore is hosting its annual Pride Flag raising on Thursday, May 15 in worldwide celebration of sexual and gender diversity and to observe the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (May 17). The flag raising event will run from 12 – 12:30 p.m. in the Canmore Civic Centre Plaza. All are welcome to attend in solidarity. This event is free and no RSVP is required.

Speeches will start at 12 p.m. followed by mingling with light snacks and refreshments.

This event will be happening outdoors with limited seating on benches. The washrooms are gendered and are inside of the Canmore Civic Centre building which is wheelchair accessible.
