Bow Valley Trans Board Game Night with Skipping Stone
Monthly, on the last Monday of each month from 6-8:30 PM.
A casual meetup for trans and gender diverse folks and their families, bio or chosen, to play board games and get to know each other.

The artsPlace meeting room is located behind the front desk. Please talk to the staff member/volunteer at the front desk when you arrive and tell them you are here for the Trans Board Game Night.

What to expect:
A space for trans and gender diverse people to get together. You can play any of the board games provided, or bring your own board game if you have one you’d like to play with the group.
You do not have to play board games if you don’t want to. You’re still welcome to be in the space.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
This space is hosted by a trans facilitator from Skipping Stone.
No registration is required. This event is free.
We recommend that you arrive at 6 PM if possible, so you have as much time as possible to play games.

Who this space is for:
This space is specifically for trans and gender diverse people only. You do not have to live in Canmore to attend.
Note: Youth are able to bring an adult (family member or chosen family) with them as well. The accompanying adult does not need to be part of the trans/gender diverse community.)

What to bring:
Board games - feel free to bring any you want to play with others
Water bottle, snacks, etc.
Any items that help you feel comfortable (e.g. hat, sunglasses, stuffed toys, etc.)

Accessibility:
There is a single-user gender-neutral washroom available. It is across from the front desk and is wheelchair accessible.
There are also men’s and women’s washrooms.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
The Meeting Room can fit approximately 10 people.
The room is well-lit with overhead lights.
The closest bus stop is Canmore 9th Street (Roam Transit) and is 200 metres from the venue.

Getting here:
There is a paid parking lot in front of artsPlace including limited accessible parking spots at the front and back of artsPlace. We also encourage you to walk/bike/bus/roll to the venue if possible.
